Artist Kiran Devi is a traditional artist from Jitwarpur village of Madhubani district of Bihar. Since the age of 6, her fingers have been able to do subtle shapes with colors and she got this talent inherited. Before her death, at the age of 50, she had made thousands of attractive Madhubani paintings. She had made Radha-Krishna paintings, Shiva-Parvati, Ganesha, Saraswati, Durga, Elephants, Peacocks and fish paintings. This Madhubani painting style of art had made its place important internationally.
