A freelance visual artist Girish K. Adannavar, born in 1973 is currently living in Nipani, Belgaum, Karnataka which is his birthplace too. He is one of the famous contemporary artists in India and is always absorbed in exploring and showing his creativity to the world. He keeps himself busy in national and international group and solo shows and is awarded in many prestigious state-level competitions.
People in India and abroad, art lovers, and even a few senior artists are linking and buying his paintings. His buyers are especially from the US, UK, Germany, France, Singapore, etc.
Girish works mostly with acrylic and uses a vibrant palette in depicting human figures. Most of his theme is based on Indian rural culture, young people whether male or female in traditional attire and busy in their day-to-day life.
