Visual artist Jyoti Prasad Mallick hails from the picturesque town of Chinsurah in the Hooghly district of West Bengal, born in the year 1951. He pursued his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1974 and further honed his skills in Indian Style Painting in 1976 from the esteemed Govt College of Art & Craft Kolkata.
With an illustrious career spanning several decades, Jyoti Prasad has graced numerous exhibitions in Kolkata and beyond. As a founding member of the artist collective Era, he has had the privilege of showcasing his creations in prominent cities across the country.
