Dilraj Kaur: Abstract Expressionist Artist

Dilraj Kaur is a prominent abstract expressionist artist known for her unique ability to channel her emotions onto the canvas with a childlike playfulness. Her creative process is deeply influenced by spiritual music, which helps her paint with vibrant colors and textures that reflect her inner emotions. This soulful approach to art brings her a profound sense of joy, energy, and tranquility.

Born in New Delhi in 1970, Dilraj Kaur received her formal education in Fine Arts at Sharada Ukil School of Arts, New Delhi. She furthered her studies with a Master’s in Fine Arts from Jivaji University, Gwalior, and honed her skills in painting and sculpture at Triveni Kala Sangam. Kaur began her artistic journey at a young age, participating in various prestigious events such as the Yuva Mahotsava and Women’s Day celebrations hosted by Stabdhika at the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), New Delhi.
