Visual Artist Kishore Pratim Biswas was born in 1971, in Kolkata, West Bengal, and completed his academic career in fine arts at the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata in 1997. After struggling in the initial phase he shifted to Mumbai to enhance his art skills. Earlier he was expressing his thoughts on paper with watercolor, oil, charcoal, mixed media and soft pastels but later he switched to acrylic on canvas.
In 2018 Kishore did three solo shows on ‘Nostalgia’ which was basically the exhibition of paintings on Indian steam Locomotives and got appreciation from the art admires.
At present, he has his own studio in Mumbai and currently he is working on new series of contemporary figurative paintings on women’s beauty. (Series - Freedom of Beauty)
