The Gaiety Theater was opened on 30 May 1887 on Mall Road Shimla, India. It is a very popular theatre because many Indian film actors have performed on its stage. At present artists of the school of Shimla use this property to perform their art. The theater has been renovated without touching its original structure as it is preserved under the Heritage Property Act of India.
