Explanation behind the artwork:
In my view, effective communication through art should be clear and understandable. Therefore, I emphasize purity of line, lyrical use of color, and imagery in my paintings. One of the rarest skills in art is the ability to make paintings radiate with light. My artistic themes often center around leaves, symbolizing nature and serving as the life source for plants.
I capture the essence of leaves: their gentleness akin to an evening breeze, their fury resembling a summer storm, and their beauty mirroring moonlight on water.
My fascination with lotus flowers dates back to my childhood and has been cultivated over the years. Extensive research into the flower, its habitat, and its interactions with birds and insects that pollinate it has been a significant part of my artistic journey.
I have dedicated considerable time to understanding its origins and the various species found worldwide. While it's commonly known that lotus flowers close their petals at night and reopen in the morning, I've discovered that they also provide shelter to a species of beetles within their folds during the night, creating a miniature haven.
