This artwork has been influenced by Satyajit Roy's Bengali Movie Pather Panchali. It is about the harsh village life story of Apu (brother) and his elder sister Durga in their childhood.
After India’s independence, Pather Panchali was the first film that attracted major international critical attention. This film not only won India's National Film Award in 1955 for Best Feature Film but also won several other awards too.
