Bada Bagh (Big Garden) is situated on a small hill in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It was initially a desert transformed by Maharawal Jaisal Singh, the founder of the state, who built a dam to supply water, thereby converting it into a green land. After his death, his son Lunkaran undertook the task of fabricating the green land into a garden.
